Mein liebes Herzerl.
deine
Mathilde.

My dear darling. – Since your letter, I feel much more revolting than before. – We have perpetrated a terrible stupidity. And at the same time, the weather is constantly bad. Rowing is quite unthinkable. But you can be quite unconcerned, I will be very careful. I have received all the goods in good order. No account from the removal firm yet. Why don’t you let anyone sleep in your place, if you feel so lonesome? It would be better! – The crossed off words on my postcard were a mistake I made. I thought the door handles on the Boathouse were made well, but it was not so. That’s what I wrote. So far, only the doors of the veranda have been done nothing else. I am very much longing for you my dearest; time simply does not pass. Mother is in a bad mood, because she cannot get anything here. Dear God, I would be happy if only you were here with us again. The children are well, except for Görgi, who has a little cold. But you can imagine, that in this weather, it is difficult to cope with them. Today I am going to the Altmünster flat with mother.
Many thousand kisses, my dear, naturally also from the children,
your
Mathilde.
