Liebster Arnold.
deine
Mathilde.
Dearest Arnold, l hope you have arrived safely and that all is in order. Here it continues to rain quite a lot. I am awfully uneasy, time is just not passing. If only the weather were a little better, so that one could go out. Trudi is very well behaved and sweet. Görgi is very naughty, and dear. We are sending you a thousand kisses
your
Mathilde.
