There is so much to taken in! Let me thank you for providing such a comprehensive study of a sadly neglected artist. I am a painter myself and have been obsessed with Gerstl and the Austrian school since the age of fifteen - I am forty-one now. Lol. My own work has been influenced by Gerstl. I also have catalog on Gerstl by Otto Breicha but its in German and I don't understand a word of it. Lol. So your website is a godsend. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks.
